Homogeneous PVC floors come with long-term life and therefore they are good in high-traffic and industrial areas such as hospitals, schools, libraries, supermarkets, warehouses and so on. They are also the economical solution compared to others. By definition, homogenous flooring is of the same kind throughout and not have different layers laminated together. Once laid, the joints can be heat-welded with a welding rod to give a beautiful look. The maintenance of this flooring is also easy either manually or with a cleaning machine.
Installation
The condition of the subfloor is critical to the appearance of the finished installation and the life and serviceablity of the floor covering. It is essential, therefore, that the subfloor be dry, hard, rigid, smooth, level, clean and free of dust and grease. A resign based membrane could be used as a moisture mitigation system as applicable. Our recommended adhesive should be used. The flooring sheet will be heat seam welded together with matching color rods. Trimming is done once the welding rod and material have completely cooled.
