Tarpaulin is a large sheet of strong, flexible, water-resistant or waterproof material, often cloth such as canvas or polyester coated with PVC film on either side. Its mostly used as lorry covering and great for applications such as pond liner where water resistance is most required. The material is very strong, virtually non tearable and has a variety of application possibilities.
